Fiery Fawkes Kennings…

As part of our learning about Guy Fawkes and his fateful decision to help the plotters to destroy the King and parliament on the 5th November 1605, Y3/4 children used their kenning skills and descriptive vocabulary to write poetry to inspire and inform.

Children collected nouns and verbs and then thought about the type of person Fawkes was before forming descriptive kennings using a variety of verb forms.
