All children in school were treated to an amazing Science Theatre this afternoon who really did make learning fun and informative through audience participation and drama.
They introduced the topic of evaporation by using volunteer children ‘droplets’ and explained the Water Cycle using key vocabulary.
The children could see how some parts of the world are in the darkness at different parts of the day while some parts are in light. The children all had a go understanding a partial eclipse using their eyes and hands.
Vocabulary like ‘rotation’, ‘eclipse’, ‘condensation’ and ‘solar’ were used regularly.
A huge thank you to the Kinetic Theatre company for their time! A definite winner where children could experience a live theatre performance.
So pleased I now know exactly what Max has been excitedly talking about since school pick up! Looks like great fun 👍
A super way to end a fantastic week of science! Ethan was very enthusiastic about this too!
A great show. Live theatre always provides excitement but also supports our learning of science in a fun way.
