We were learning about light travelling in straight lines – we proved this by cutting circles in card and shining the torch through to check if we could see the light travelling in straight lines. We discovered that when the light travelled through the gap, if we moved the torch, the rays of light passed through at a corresponding angle.
We used our discovery about corresponding angles to set up a new experiment, our challenge was to shine a torch onto the back of itself. We talked about periscopes and angles. Some of us used protractors to measure angles and others rotated the mirrors.

I Loved this science! For my opinion it was a bit hard… but it was fun working as a team and I would definitely do this again!
