Today Puffins class learnt all about Marie Curie – what a fascinating lady! We researched information and watched a short biography before settling down to write some facts about her life, work and achievements. The children then learnt about one of her famous quotes “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood.” We linked it to how they might feel about learning a new skill. They tried their hardest to produce some lovely joined handwriting.
We can’t wait for science week next week as there are lots of exciting learning opportunities planned.
