We are proud to announce that our School Councillors for this academic year have been selected, having been chosen by their classmates.
We held our first meeting this morning and agreed that our focus this year will be on encouraging our friends to be healthy – healthy minds, healthy food and healthy activities – in order that we can all be the best that we can be.
Councillors contributed brilliantly to the meeting and they promise to be a group full of ideas about how to make our school even better!
They certainly full of idea – Oliver has already given the staff some food for thought with ideas about developing democracy in school. Thank you Mrs Jackson for organising the first meeting and to the children for making such a good start.
I can’t wait to hear the good ideas that the new school councillors are coming up with. Perhaps an invitation to join a meeting might be on its way sometime soon?
