The whole school gathered for a live performance on Climate Change. Children were taught the dangers of developing our coastlines and the damage litter and pollution could cause to the wildlife who inhabit those areas. There were many laughs as well as more serious points.
Here are some of the comments made by children about what they learnt.
“I now know the difference between ‘weather’ and ‘climate’.”
“I hadn’t realised that animals relied on seaweed to eat and live in.”
“I can name a fossil fuel:coal”
”I now know that you shouldn’t put baby wipes down the toilet!”
