Crochet club met for the very first time this afternoon! With only one of us having ever crocheted before, we looked at the different sized hooks and began with learning how to slip knot onto the hook and chain. It wasn’t the easiest, but the girls have been extremely persistent and have even taken their hook and yarn home to practice. We can’t wait to come back next week and move onto the next step so that we can eventually make sunflower coasters!
17.10.22- We have now had 4 sessions together and the girls are getting the hang of holding the hook, thinking about their tension and making chains and single crochets. We are so excited to learn more as we continue the club after half term.
