The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.
Mrs Hobbs has been supporting some of our younger pupils to plant a selection of trees in the far corner of the field to create a legacy in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.
Also, to mark the event, Applegarth Primary School has been given a QGC virtual plaque which can be seen on the link below.

We are all excited about the events planned in the week before half term to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
