Year 5 have had a wonderful experience at Carlton Lodge: bouldering, raft building, climbing, caving, bouldering, completing team challenges, tree climbing and completing bush craft activities (and eating dried insects). They have returned full of enthusiasm and memories. Confidence levels and teamwork skills are definitely at a high.

Year 5 look like they’ve had a brilliant time (and have had some lovely weather). I am very impresses with how well all of the pupils behaved and engaged with the activities. They have done themselves proud.
Great photos of a fabulous two days. The weather was beautiful but very chilly up at Brimham Rocks.
The children were fantastic and really pushed themselves , even when a little scared. I was particularly impressed with the encouragement that they all gave to one another.
One child was so good at motivating their friends while bouldering that she was offered a job.

Year 5 were fabulous on Thursday and Friday. We should have known just how amazing they’d be when all 40 of then signed up to go. They conquered fears and pushed themselves further, determined to be the best they could be. Just imagine what you can achieve in life, Year 5!
