Year 3/4 have been learning about the importance of Ganesh for Hindu people and how he got his elephant head. They have asked questions about why Hindus would choose to pray to Ganesh and learnt that he helps them if they are starting something new or need a wise guide.
Children made their own ‘murtis’ of Ganesh out of clay, moulding and carving until they were happy with the result. They need painting and decorating, but I’m sure you will agree that they are very impressive!
Well done for showing such resilience and determination in the face of slippery clay, Year 3/4!
