During Heritage Week we walked around town identifying historical buildings around us, we found out about The Porch House, compared modern maps with one from 1912. We also used online mapping systems to compare Northallerton now and in the past. Finally we learnt how to read 4 and 6 figure grid references. Phew! What a busy week!
