Y3/4 have been using their knowledge of the famous Greek myth, Theseus and the Minotaur AND light and shadows to create their very own shadow puppets in their very own puppet theatre!
Children created the characters of Theseus, Ariadne, the Minotaur and even props like the ship he arrived in, a sword and some string to enable them to retell the myth with great detail and gusto!
We all found ways to make our characters less blurry to our audience and tried several angles to ensure the shadow fell where we wanted it to, using our previous knowledge, developed in Science lessons.
Well done for super creative teamwork, accurate character outlines and learning through repeated attempts, some that failed before they succeeded!
