The Y2 Penguins and Puffins have had a very busy day. This morning they all walked to the New Life Baptist Church to learn about the Easter Story. They made palm leaves to welcome ‘Jesus’ to Jerusalem and learnt about the different foods that Jesus and his disciples would have eaten for the Last Supper. We listened to different witness statements of the events after the death of Jesus to decide what we thought may have happened. The behaviour of all the children was just what we would expect from Applegarth Penguins and Puffins; They were polite, well mannered, respectful and listened carefully.
