Following Mr Tudor’s assembly on World Book Day, Year 5/6 have been considering all of the reading they do on a daily basis. They were all shocked to see how reading flows through their lives rather than just a skill they learn and use in school. Look out for their Reading Rivers and Reading Rivers from other classes which will be on display in the school hall!
It is great to see the display now up in the hall. Every class took up Mr Tudor’s challenge and created their own reading rivers. I am sure the assembly and the creation of their own Reading River will ‘stick’ in their memories. Thanks to our teaching assistant team for refreshing and renewing displays in our shared areas.
