Blue Abyss

The children in Year 3/4 are very inspired by our topic, The Blue Abyss. Here are a selection of photographs taken in literacy, maths, science, history and art over the first few weeks of half term.  The poems need a little further editing to check for spelling errors and missing punctuation but I thought the they were still worth posting!

  1. It is great to have ‘milestone’ part way through this topic. Science, art and literacy just a few of the skills brought together under this theme.
Good to see care in the illustrations for the poems and observational drawings of the shells.
It is the first time I have seen breakfast cereal used to help children understand the differences between solids, liquids and gases.
    Well done Nick Park Class

  2. Lots of budding poets and artists here! So much evocative language in the poems and impressive observational drawings of the shells.
