Science this afternoon was, in the words of the children, ‘awesome!’ After some theory last week on blood and the heart, today, the children were given the task of locating the aorta, atrium and ventricles in a pig’s heart. Children were keen to get stuck in exploring all aspects of the muscle.
Lily absolutely loved doing this, she told us all about it when she got home!

A “heartfelt” (see what I did there?!) congratulations to all those brave souls who dug deep and overcame initial uncertainty to participate in this lesson. A lesson to remember, for sure!
