This week in Maths lessons the children in Bees have been learning about words associated with ways to measure time. The children have been making watches, playing time games and taking part in 1 minute challenges!

Such concentration. Great to hear all about the time telling words they have been learning.Max has been using them over the weekend.
Thanks Mr Whiteley. The concept of time is very hard to grasp for many children. Focusing on the language will help prepare our children for the summer challenge of learning to tell the time.
Next Year our ‘Year of Words’ will build on this focussed vocabulary teaching.
