Mrs Searle took Reception Honeybees for Forest Friday and the children had a brilliant time learning in the sun.

We had a great time creating potions, perfumes, animal shelters, stories with African animals and completing a woodland treasure hunt 😀
It looks like they are having so much fun outdoors on a perfect summers day!
Its looks like another fun Forrest Friday 😁
Freddie loves Forest Fridays! He had been ‘checking’ everyone with buttercups all week.
It is great to hear the children are taking their learning home. Visiting these sessions and watching the children’s faces is one of my favourite times. This is not however incidental learning. The planning is immense and thorough – behind every ‘play’ activity much thought has gone into the development of vocabulary, physical skills and building up a knowledge of the environment. It is not not what the children will do but what they will learn.
Thank you
No time wasted – all valuable learning!
