What a lovely day we had for the Year 3/4 town hockey tournament. The sun was shining after snow last week cancelled the tournament.
The team were very excited as only one of them had the experience of playing in a tournament. All members of the team played well, using the skills they had learnt in lessons.
This time we missed out on a medal but everyone enjoyed the experience.
One child reflected on the experience by saying that to improve they needed to pass more efficiently and find space to receive the ball.
