This term the art club have produced some wonderful work using natural materials to make their own paints, very much like people would have used in the past. They have also made inks using beetroot and green walnuts (from Romanby Green) and made egg tempera paint with natural saffron. Wendi, our art club teacher, has been collecting wood to make charcoal which the children have also used.
