What an amazing selection of homework brought into class this week. It was very hard to choose the winner but in the end we chose Harvey’s homework. He made a Viking longboat with his dad.

I was lucky enough to see this as you were walking through school with it Harvey – it is impressive in the picture but even more so in real life! What an absolutely brilliant piece of homework, so well made and you were rightly very very proud of it.
On wet mornings children come into the hall and read their books. Sometimes to each other and sometimes by themselves. The children now do this without being asked to – a sign that children are really gaining pleasure from reading.
