Galileo class took their learning about the digestive system to the next level today.
First, we sorted liquorice all sorts into different groups. Classifying them in different ways. This took us into the next part of our learning.
We had started to compare a human’s digestive system to an animal’s and today we had a look at some securely bagged poo samples. The children had to look closely and try and identify which animal the poo belonged to.
Next we had a go at creating a classification key for animal poo. Although tricky, some of the children really got the hang of it.
Lots of science skills. Some were clearly using all their senses when studying the ‘poo’.
