What a super group! The Year 1 children in Bumblebees and Penguins were an amazing group and all had a fantastic time. We learnt about pine trees and oak trees, listed the parts of a tree, found out about deciduous and evergreen trees, cooked marshmallows, built dens, dug out bear caves, made telephones, built pulley systems, drank hot chocolate, produced bark rubbings, played cops and robbers, whittled willow…the list goes on.
What a busy day!!
