We enjoyed a different start to our Star of the Week assembly today as Renzo Piano Class shared their learning about Remembrance. They talked about the importance of poppies, why it is important to remember and what happens on Remembrance Day. They then led us in an act of remembrance. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge Piano class and a big thanks to Mrs O’Toole for all her hard work in preparing the class for this.

The children helped us to consider how we could look for peace and try to end violence in our world, whilst remembering those that lost their lives. The children shared photographs of the fields of poppies and explained their relevance to all. Thank you to everyone for buying poppies and othe Poppy ‘items’ this week.
