Penguins and Puffins were very lucky this week to learn about Mr Hatfield’s car. “It was called a Morris Minor and it had trafficators which are the indicators of the past. There were no seat belts.” The Penguins and Puffins have compared this car from the past with cars from the present and have even thought about what cars might be like in the future.
The children were very excited when Mr Hatfield kindly allowed Mrs Goodwin to drive his car around the playground!
They have sent Mr Hatfield thank you pictures and letters to say a great big Applegarth ‘THANK YOU!’
The children are still talking about their learning during Heritage Week even now.
