This week we have been reading a book called Leaf Trouble by Jonathan Emmett. It’s helped us focus on the changing seasons and we’ve been impressed with the children’s knowledge about what happens in Autumn. We’ve done lots of counting with conkers and decorating leaves with metallic pens. Meanwhile we’ve followed what the children are interested in; this week we’ve been making lots of kites and robots. One member of Y1 Honeybees recently received a new water colour set and wanted to paint an autumn picture.
