Bees Visit All Saints Church

The children in Bees have been comparing two churches and finding out the features inside that make them special places.  Reverend Fiona, Donetta and Keith welcomed us and gave us a tour of the church.  The children learnt about communion, the organ, stained glass windows, the font, the pulpit and lectern and the Bible.  It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to focus more on the special things found in a church.  They all had super questions to ask.  A huge thank you to Donetta, Fiona and Keith for giving the children an exciting afternoon.

  1. Another very special visit helping our children to understand more about faiths and special buildings in our local community.
Thank you to Donetta for her valuable contributions in school this term. Her amazing lunchtime sessions have been fabulous and assemblies spot on.
Thanks also to Rev Fiona and all at All Saints Church for their contributions to life at Applegarth and helping us celebrate and understand festivals over the year.

  2. It was lovely to welcome the children and staff to All Saints Church and be able to support them in exploring different aspects of the Christian faith. Have a wonderful summer break and see you again in September.
    Blessings
Donneta, Children and Families Minister, All Saints
