We seem to be very lucky with the weather on Forest Friday at the moment. This week we tried pond dipping to see if any life existed in the pond. We found waterboatmen, pond snails AND newts. The children were eager to hold the newts and watch them in the observation buckets. A group of children wanted to practise their archery skills so we made bows and arrows whilst other children were hunting for minibeasts. It was a super afternoon.
As always the children join us back in school so keen to share what they have found or learnt about.
