Our Digital Leaders took part in an event at Catterick Leisure Centre to learn more about coding and trial new technologies. Nine other schools took part in the day which hosted 66 children in total. The children had the opportunity to interact and learn with pupils from the other schools and we used our steerable buggies as one of the workshops. Other schools thought they were great! In all it was a fun day and I know our Digital Leaders were thoroughly inspired and were talking none stop about it on the journey home.
I’m glad the Digital Leaders had a marvellous time though I do think we should let everyone know that Mr Whiteley had worked ‘his socks off’ in preparing the event for all the schools with colleagues from the Swaledale Alliance.
