Music for Life

Janet Fulton, an amazing percussionist who visits schools as part of the Music for Life Project, came to Applegarth School today to show the children her incredible array of percussion instruments, how they are played and what they sound like. She talked about instruments from different countries and used important vocabulary like CRESCENDO and TONE. Year 4 children from Rowling and Jordan Classes then took part in a workshop in the morning with Hamilton Year 4 children in for a similar treat this afternoon!

  1. I was so lucky having an office alongside the hall today. What fabulous performances from Janet and the two workshop groups. Well done everyone.
